The Race

This event puts the FUN in fundraising. Our mission is to raise awareness for Cystic Fibrosis and to fund research toward a cure, all while having a great day with friends.The event is our own version of the TV show Amazing Race, where teams of 4 will race around York completing a variety of mental and physical tasks.

Groundbreaking developments have been happening in the CF world and we need to keep funding research to allow Anna and young CFers to have access to new medications as soon as possible.

Teams will need to chose a team color or theme. Theme examples are superheroes, lady bug, polka dot, Game of Thrones, anything! Costumes are strongly encouraged and make the event even more fun. Think of it as a practice run for Halloween! We can't wait to see you all out there!

After the race we'll have an awards ceremony, food, and drinks to celebrate a great day!

Each team member is encouraged to try to recieve $100 in donations. Ask friends, family, and co-workers to support this cause and sponsor you in the race! You (and anyone else) can donate to the event here. Be sure to add the team associated with each donation on the form above so we can give credit to you and your team.

Tickets for this event are non-refundable. The event will be held rain or shine. We also ask that anyone with CF that wishes to participate wear a pin that we will provide to identify themselves, and ask that they stay a healthy distance from other CFers to limit the spread of infection. Following the Cystic Fibrosis Fundraising guidelines, we ask that CFers who have cultured B. Cepacia do not attend this event.
